Refriango, a company specializing in the production and distribution of beverages, is returning this year to Gulfood, the world’s largest food and beverage fair, taking place from February 19 to 23 in Dubai. In its second participation in this event, Refriango reaffirms its commitment to global expansion and increased exports.

Luanda, February 15, 2024: This year, Refriango returns to Gulfood in Dubai to position itself as an emerging global leader in the beverage sector. During the world’s largest food and beverage fair, where it has already made a strong impression, the company aims to once again demonstrate its potential in exporting a wide range of high-quality products.

As a key global showcase for the latest trends, innovations, and flavors in the food and beverage sector, Gulfood presents an important opportunity for Refriango to invite partners, distributors, beverage enthusiasts, and industry professionals from around the world to discover and explore its brands, opening new and significant business opportunities.

Refriango’s stand at Gulfood will showcase the diversity of the company’s products (Blue, Red, Welwitschia, Speed, Pura, Nutry, Tutti, Super Cuia), with a focus on quality.

The global expansion of Refriango is the central theme of the company’s international strategic plan, which also aims to establish itself as one of Angola’s leading exporters in the non-oil sector.

Currently, the company operates in the Democratic Republic of Congo, its main export market to date, as well as in Portugal, the Republic of Congo, Guinea-Conakry, Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe, and South Africa.

Refriango specializes in the production and distribution of soft drinks, juices, water, energy drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Positioned among the top Angolan companies and one of the most prominent references on the African continent, the company boasts a portfolio of 15 brands, some of which are market leaders in their respective segments. Top-selling products include Blue soft drink, Pura water, Nutry and Tutti juices, and Welwitschia tonic water.

Refriango operates one of the largest industrial facilities on the African continent, covering 42 hectares, employing 3,800 workers, and utilizing state-of-the-art technology comparable to the best global beverage factories.

As a clear market leader in Angola's beverage sector, Refriango has an annual production capacity of 1.9 billion liters and 24 filling lines for all types of packaging, supporting over 150 products.
